What Do You Get

Under the Warm Front Scheme every house owner or privately rented tenant can get a grant of £3,500 for gas central heating system (or £6,000 if you install oil, low carbon or renewable technology central heating system). If you qualify for the grant you can get any or all the below stated works

  • Loft Insulation
  • Draught Proofing
  • Cavity-Wall Insulation
  • Hot-Water Tank Insulation
  • Gas, Electric or oil central heating
  • Glass-Fronted fire

  • Gas, Electric or oil central heating

Gas, Electric or Oil central heating works need a technical survery. The Warm Front installer will carry out the survey to help them decide exactly what works your home/property needs. The Warm Front installs a combination boiler, up to five radiators including all valves and pipework. They may also repair the existing heating system.

    Loft Insulation

By installing the loft insulation in your house or property you can save about £110 per year. This is one of the most effective ways to make your home more energy-efficient. Under the Warm Front Scheme they fit two layers of insulation in the loft.

    Draught Proofing

The heat lost from windows and doors can be saved if we carry out draughtproofing work. The Warm Front fits plastic strips to all windows and outside doors. And when it comes to doors they fit plastic strips on the top and the two sides, and a brush on the bottom.

    Cavity-Wall Insulation

About 33% of heat can be saved if cavity wall insulation work is carried out in your house or property. The Warm Front will fill the wall gaps with insulating material such as ploystyrene beads or mineral wool

    Hot-Water Tank Insulation

The Warm Front installer will check the insulation around hot-water tank and fit a jacket if necessary.

    Glass-Fronted fire

Under the Warm Front scheme they can convert your solid-fuel open fire to a glass-fronted fire.
