How Loft Insulation Work?

Loft Insualtion helps keep your home warmer by preventing the heat lose from the roof. Basically their are two types of loft insualtions

  • Blanket type material insulation
  • Loose granular insulation
  • Blanket type material insulation is made up fibreglass or mineral wool. Whereas loose granular insualtion are best suitable for houses with awkward piping or joist areas or in lofts with restricted access.

    When a wram front assessor visits your property, he/she will identify if your property needs any insulation works to carry out. If your property is assigned the loft insulation under the warm front, then they will carry out the insulation work.

    The warm front installer will select one which best suits your property from many different types of loft insulations. All the water tanks and pipes in the loft will be insulated to reduce the risk of freezing.
