If your eligible for a new heating system under the Warm Front Scheme, then the warm front team will replace your old central heating system with a new one. They will also repair your existing heating system if then think it is the best solution. All the heating works will take up to six months after the assessment. Before repairing or replacing your heating system the Warm Front Installers need to carry of a technical survey.

The warm front installers will come to a conclusion and carry out the below steps after they successfully completes the technical survey.

  • First the installer will try to fix the heating system during his first visit to your house. If they need any parts for your boiler they will order the parts and then they will arrange to come back and repair according to your convenience

  • If the Warm Front installer cannot repair the existing system, they will recommend replacing your boiler. While the installer is carrying out the technical survey, they will discuss with you where to place the new boiler. The Warm Front installer will replace the new boiler with the similar model which already exist in your house or use another similar model with more efficient




  • If you currently don´t have any central heating system or your system is still not suitable after the warm front installer tried to repair or replace it, Warm Front will recommend a brand new central heating system. If the Warm Front recommends installing a brand new central heating system, they can install gas, oil and electric heating system which are best suitable for your house.

    The warm front installer who carried out the technical survey will recommend you with the best system. They will explain everything about the new central heating system which will be installed and discuss with you regarding the suitable positions for the boiler, radiators and necessary pipework to be fitted.

    If the Warm Front is installing a new gas central heating system, they will provide five radiators in the main living areas of your home. They can also provide an extra radiator if one radiator is not enough to heat the room. Generally warm front installer will recommend how many radiators you need for one room. The warm front team will not install radiators in conservatories, loft space, utility areas, toilets, cloakrooms or porches.
